My husband and I have been residents of Alvin since 2016 when we searched high and low for the perfect property to house our horses and allow us to grow our family. My career began when I graduated from University of Houston-Clear lake with a BA in psychology. I have worked for ALVIN ISD teaching 7th grade English for seven years before transitioning to real estate in 2023. My passion for real estate began when we purchased our first home, I loved the whole process of house hunting, closing and eventually turning it into our dream homestead. My goal now is to do the same for other families. Whether you're a first time home buyer, an investor, or living in a subdivision wanting to escape to country life, I am your agent. I am truly YOUR hometown agent! Growing up in Alvin, I am very familiar with Alvin and the surrounding cities. My wife and I have raised our FIVE boys in Alvin, and I am well connected in the area. I was a youth pastor in Alvin for many years, and I continue to have that strong desire to serve people. In 2014, I was named the Citizen of the Year by the Alvin-Manvel Area Chamber of Commerce. In the last few years, I served as the chair of the Youth Roundtable Committee for the Chamber. Currently, I am the chaplain for Alvin EMS, coach little league baseball, and I serve on the board of directors for the Alvin ISD Education Foundation, Alvin FFA Alumni and Supporters, and Brazoria County Alliance for Children. Melissa has been a Real Estate Agent since 2007. Her career began at Coldwell Banker United and she hit the ground running making "Rookie of the Year". She left the corporate working world of Merrill Lynch and Vinson & Elkins Law Firm to begin her dream job. To this day she still says "it was the best decision I have ever made".
